For entrepreneurs running an early-stage business — or standing at the point of launch — who want senior counsel instead of another playbook.
An early-stage business runs on a founder’s judgement — and at the stage between “idea” and “traction,” the calls have outsize consequences. Product direction, first hires, pricing, how much runway to burn on which bet. Advice at this stage is mostly generic (“build in public,” “get to product-market fit”) when what founders actually need is someone who has run a business through the same phase, sitting across the table, giving a straight answer to a specific question.
Startup Mentoring is a structured relationship with a Savjet coach who has built, run, and often sold a business themselves. Sessions are 1.5 hours, delivered online via Teams or in person at your office or ours. Cadence is usually monthly, but the frequency and scope are shaped around what you’re actually working through — a founder in fundraising mode has different needs to one still refining the offer. Your coach is available outside sessions for quick questions when a decision can’t wait.
The work is guided by your agenda, not a template. Typical ground the coach will help you cover: personal wellbeing and self-leadership, executive presence and communication as your team grows, strategic management of the initiatives that will move the business, talent decisions (who to bring in, who to redistribute), building a high-performing team culture, and navigating the politics that appear as soon as you have a senior team. There’s also space for the long-term view — three-year vision, strategic planning, team health — when that’s the work that needs doing.
