Savjet Management Group

Effective: 1st July 2026

Applies to: Savjet Pty Ltd and associated practices.

About this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Savjet Pty Ltd, trading as Savjet Management Group (“Savjet,” “we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, discloses, stores and protects personal information we obtain through our website savjet.com.au, our services, and our dealings with clients, contacts, and visitors.

Savjet is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals whose personal information we hold. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”).

This policy applies to Savjet Pty Ltd and, where relevant, to our associated practices, including AR Sales Group.

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include:

  • Your name, job title, and the name of the business you represent.
  • Contact details, including business address, email address, and phone number.
  • Information you provide via our website contact form, including approximate business revenue and the nature of your enquiry.
  • Booking information provided when you schedule a discovery call.
  • Correspondence with us, including emails, meeting notes, and file attachments you send.
  • Information you share with us in the course of an advisory engagement, including business, financial, or strategic information about your organisation.
  • Testimonials, quotes, or professional references you provide, with your consent.
  • Information you provide when you subscribe to our mailing list or download material from our website.
  • Technical information about your visit to our website, including your IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, and pages visited. See “Cookies and website analytics” below.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information as defined under the Privacy Act. If you provide sensitive information to us in the course of an engagement, we handle it in accordance with APP 3.

How we collect it

We collect personal information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you — when you complete a form on our website, contact us by email or phone, book a discovery call, engage us for services, subscribe to our communications, attend an event, or otherwise interact with us.
  • From your organisation — when a colleague or representative introduces us, or when we are engaged by your business.
  • From publicly available sources — including LinkedIn, company websites, ASIC records, and news publications, where the information is relevant to the services we provide or to legitimate business development activities.
  • From third parties acting on your behalf — for example, referrals or introductions from mutual contacts.
  • Automatically via our website — through cookies and analytics tools, as described below.

If we collect personal information about you from someone other than you, we take reasonable steps to make you aware of the collection at or before the time we first use the information, in accordance with APP 5.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

We collect and use personal information for purposes that include:

  • Providing advisory, mentoring, consulting, and related services to you or your organisation.
  • Responding to your enquiries and correspondence.
  • Scheduling and conducting meetings, including discovery calls.
  • Preparing proposals, agreements, and other engagement documentation.
  • Administering and delivering programs including SME Mentoring, Startup Mentoring, Executive & Team Mentoring, Trusted Advisor Programme, Leadership & Culture, and Strategy, Sales & Profitability engagements.
  • Managing our client relationships and internal records.
  • Sending occasional marketing communications about our services, insights, and events, where you have consented or where we are permitted by law.
  • Improving our website and services.
  • Complying with our legal, professional, and regulatory obligations.
  • Detecting, investigating, and responding to security incidents and misuse.

We only use personal information for purposes that are directly related to the primary reason we collected it, or for a secondary purpose that would be reasonably expected. Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it.

Who we share it with

We treat all personal information as confidential and do not sell it. We may share personal information with:

  • Our associated practices — AR Sales Group — where doing so is relevant to the services we provide or to a referral you have consented to.
  • Our Associates and mentors — the senior operators who deliver mentoring and advisory work on our behalf. All Associates are subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Service providers that help us operate our business, including cloud hosting, IT support, customer relationship management software (such as HubSpot), email delivery, website analytics (such as Google Analytics), online booking platforms (such as Morgen), and professional advisors. These providers are only permitted to use personal information as required to deliver services to us.
  • Government or regulatory bodies where we are required to do so by law, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or comply with legal process.
  • Purchasers or successors in the event of a sale, merger, or restructure of our business, subject to confidentiality obligations.

We do not disclose personal information to any other third party without your consent, unless required or permitted by law.

Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to help the site function properly and to help us understand how visitors use it.

  • Essential cookies are necessary for the site to work. You cannot opt out of these.
  • Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to give us aggregated, non-identifying insights into how the site is used. This helps us improve the site. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Third-party cookies may be set by services we use, such as embedded booking widgets or social media.

Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being set, but doing so may affect how the site works.

How we store and protect it

We store personal information in secure electronic systems provided by reputable Australian and international service providers. Access is restricted to Savjet personnel, Associates, and service providers who need it for the purposes described in this policy.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. These steps include access controls, encryption in transit, password protection, staff training, and confidentiality obligations.

We retain personal information for as long as we need it to provide services, meet our legal and professional obligations, and manage our business relationships. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it in accordance with APP 11.

Storage and processing overseas

Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside Australia. This may include:

  • Google (United States and other locations) — for analytics, email, and productivity services.
  • HubSpot (United States and European Union) — for customer relationship management.
  • Microsoft (Australia, United States, and other locations) — for email, video conferencing, and productivity.
  • Other reputable cloud service providers used for hosting, backup, and productivity.

We only use providers that we consider to have appropriate data protection standards. By providing personal information to us, you consent to it being stored and processed overseas by these providers.

Your rights: access, correction, and complaints

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading. Requests should be made in writing to the contact details at the end of this policy.

We will respond to your request within a reasonable period, and generally within 30 days. There is no charge for making a request, though we may charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of retrieval where appropriate. We will not charge you for correcting your information.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or a request, you can make a complaint to us in writing at info@savjet.com.au. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):

  • Website: oaic.gov.au
  • Phone: 1300 363 992
  • Post: GPO Box 5288, Sydney NSW 2001

Notifiable data breaches

If we experience a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to individuals whose personal information we hold, we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Marketing communications

We may send you occasional marketing communications about our services, insights, and events, where you have consented to receive them, or where we are otherwise permitted to do so under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time by using the link, or by emailing us at info@savjet.com.au. We will action your request within a reasonable time.

Opting out of marketing communications does not affect any operational communications relating to services we are providing to you.
